“I took out a policy with PJ Hayman to cover a return trip to Perugia in Italy. On the outward journey the Discovery’s gearbox lost all its oil due to debris on the Autoroute near Geneva.
Contacted PJ Hayman, who were extremely helpful and were told Allianz would make contact in ten minutes. From that moment Allianz sorted everything including arranging the payment for the motorway breakdown, a taxi from the compound to a hotel in Geneva, a taxi to Geneva airport and a hire car so that we could continue the journey to Perugia and duration of our holiday. Extension of four days to our stay in Perugia, then a two night stay in SE France while the repairs were completed on the Discovery which had been moved to a Land Rover garage.
Every day Allianz phoned or emailed to keep us in the picture and make sure that everything they had arranged was in place. What a brilliant service – thank you”.
